Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GuessTheTier.com (the "Service"), operated by the GuessTheTier team ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

GuessTheTier is a free online game where players watch Minecraft PvP gameplay clips and guess the player's MCTiers ranking. An optional paid Pro subscription with additional features may be offered.

2. Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards is not allowed.

3. Fair Play

To keep leaderboards meaningful, the following are prohibited:

• Using bots, scripts, or automation to play or farm points
• Exploiting bugs for score advantage (report them instead)
• Sharing answers of specific clips, or guessing on clips you appear in or already know the tier of
• Any attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service

We may reset scores, remove leaderboard entries, or suspend accounts that violate fair play.

4. Submitted Clips

• You may only submit clips you recorded yourself or have permission to share.
• By submitting a clip, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and use it within the Service (including the game and promotional material for it).
• You confirm the Minecraft username and tier information you provide is accurate. Clips are verified against the MCTiers API.
• We may reject or remove any clip at our discretion (quality, accuracy, inappropriate content, or any other reason).

5. Pro Subscription

If you purchase Pro, pricing and included features are shown at the time of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Unless required by law, payments are non-refundable. We may change Pro features with reasonable notice.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service's design, branding, and original content belong to the GuessTheTier team. Minecraft is a trademark of Mojang AB. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by MCTiers, Mojang, or Microsoft.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that displayed tiers are always current or accurate. Tier data originates from MCTiers and may change.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the GuessTheTier team is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service or request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.
